New Music Monday, Sigur Ros
An alter-rock (they call their genre “slow-motion rock”) Icelandic band (Bjork’s heritage as well). Their sound is melodic and “ethereal”. The band’s name is pronounced “see-or rous” and is derived from the lead singers little sisters name “Sigurros”. Their latest album dropped earlier this month, titled “Med sud I eyrum vid spilum endalaust”. Who knows what that means. Album art is kinda odd as well.

New Music Monday, The Sunstreak
Fresh & barely signed, The Sunstreak hails from New York. Likely a flash in the pan, but they’ve booked the Warped Tour the last couple of years, so they may gain some tread. They just barely got digital distribution which made it a pain to find… This is a good melodic song though.

McCain, I can’t wait for for debates…
For someone who trumps their “experience” in politics of that of his opponent you would think by now John McCain’s could read and deliver a simple script. Watch this amalgamation of his awkward fumbling’s, pauses, forced CREEPY smiles, mumbling awkward laughs… this is from his performance in Louisiana on Tuesday night.
I’m not saying this is a reason to vote or not vote for someone, but damn! It’s a good thing he didn’t have people behind him… you’d see an awful lot of crooked confused heads and furrowed eyebrows wondering what the?!?

A group of musicians formed in 2000, they’ve released 4 full-length albums so far. They come from New York City. I know it’s a little emo/whiny, sue me.

Never ceasing to disappoint…
President and former frat boy George W. Bush gave the commencement address yesterday at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs May 28, 2008, and took some time out to chest bump cadet Theodore Shiveley, from Plano, Texas.
